Doc Comes Out

24 May 2005 No Comment

Podcasting just got even better.

Doc’s finally made an announcement, of sorts. He did hint at it earlier and has always said that he’d eventually do a podcast of his own. But this sounds more definitive than he’s sounded in the past:

Thanks to good advice from Tony Steidler-Dennison, I’ve got my MXL mike, my Eurotrack mixer (both bought through Tony), and a very small pile of other gear that will contribute to podcasts that should be starting up, sometime soon, at IT Garage, and wherever I do my own podcasting as well.

I’ve known about this for a few weeks, since a long Skype call with Doc in which I got to provide some  friendly consulting on equipment, but have deferred any public mention to Doc. During that call, Doc was good enough to purchase the equipment through my Amazon Affiliates account, as well. ("Buy Gear" in the sidebar.)

In that call, I had the pleasure of privately welcoming Doc to podcasting. Now, I can do so publicly. Welcome, Doc. Your humor and sharp insight will be a great addition to the podcasting world.
