Just wanna let you know, listened to podcast #24 at work today, then ripped over to http://www.alligator.com and bought the Mavis Staples CD

nice simple ordering interface; the only problem I had was that I couldn’t tell them where I first heard her music. So I’ll drop them an email an let them know !!

Thanks, Martin. That’s just a great CD. I’ve been listening to it again this week. I just can’t seem to get enough of Mavis Staples’ voice. It’s amazing in its range.

Thanks, too, for letting Alligator know you purchased the CD. That will help keep the relationship with them strong. Hopefully, it’ll mean they’ll also grant permissions to play more of the huge Alligator catalog.

And, keep an eye open here. I think I’ll be able to announce permissions from another great label sometime this week. Their artists won’t get into the show until #26, though, with the #25 celebration coming up this week.
