I’ve struggled for several months, now, with a good logo for The Roadhouse. I’ve actually gone through four or five, but haven’t been too happy with any of them (short of the sax logo from Bruce at PodcastBunker). What I’d really like is to have a logo that I can stick with for the long-term. But, being of the graphically-challenged persuasion, I just can’t seem to pull one together myself.

Which all leads to a contest. I’m following in the footsteps of my buddy Jason at Insomnia Radio in running a contest to design a new logo for The Roadhouse. The rules are as simple as can be:

1. Design a logo that captures the spirit of The Roadhouse and looks eye-catching in both small and large sizes.
2. Send the .gif, .jpg or .png file to rhblues@gmail.com no later than September 15.
3. Send as many different versions as you’re comfortable with.
4. I’ll select and announce the winner in the September 17 Roadhouse podcast.
5. There will be one prize: a $25.00 iTunes gift certificate for the chosen logo.

It’s pretty simple. No legalese, no hidden caveats – just design a Roadhouse logo to get a chance for some free music. I’ll post some of the entries here as I receive them.
