One CommentYet another label has joined The Roadhouse. Vanguard Records has provided permissions to play their artists in the show. They have a great catalog of artists, including Tab Benoit, James Cotton, Buddy Guy, John Hammond, Jr., Charlie Musselwhite, and many others. They also have some incredible sampler CDs, including The Blues At Newport, The Chicago Blues Today! and The Great Blues Men.
You’ll hear Vanguard artists in the show over the next few weeks. As always, you can show your support for the great blues artists and for Vanguard by purchasing the music you hear in the show.
Whoa! You have an incredible amount of really awesome blues musicians to choose from when deciding which music to play on your podcast now that you have all these labels giving permissions to use the music on their respective labels.
Is the motto “The finest blues you’ve never heard” really relevant now? I’ve got a bunch of CDs on all these labels and I’m sure a lot of your blues efficienado listeners do too.
