Sunshine rolls into The Little Blue House on the Wetlands this week, foretelling the mood and spirit of the 47th Roadhouse Podcast. Like the broad blue Iowa sky, this edition is bright and wide and expansive. Saffire – The Uppity Blues Women, Kenny Traylor, Paul Wood Band, Son Lewis, and James Booker provide only some of the highlights in a show that’s 14 cuts deep. It’s all about the breadth of the blues, the music and the musicians – and, of course, the sunshine, too. The Roadhouse Podcast 047 is another hour of the finest blues you’ve never heard.

    Tony,

I’ve been listening to your podcast for about 6 months now, and I just want to tell how much I enjoy the show. I keep the one’s that I really like (which is practically all of them) and play them over and over again on my commute to and from NYC. Thanks for making my 3 hours of daily commuting time enjoyable.

Thanks, Mike. I really appreciate the comments. I only commute about 1/2 the time you’re commuting, but this is all music that makes my commute enjoyable, as well. It’s great to be able to fill that important role.

    Thanks, again.

    Tony,
I’ve been listening to your podcast for almost a full year, Where does the time Go…?,

I can’t do with out listening to your very imaginative mix of great Blues while I’m working my normal night shift as a Longshoreman on the Docks in Southern California. Some of my Bros. have heard these very fine tunes flowing from my truck, and as a result I’ve turned them on to your site. Believe it or not you have a very loyal and Growing following on the Docks of Southern California…

Thanks…for making my time at work infinitely more enjoyable… Take Care…
