You say Don’t let me keep picking the songs to use in the Roadhouse Rewound segment. When you keep drawing Susan Tedeschi from the well as often as you do, there’s no need for me to make my requests. ;-)

Thanks again for another great show this week. The Roadhouse is always one of the highlights of my iPod listening for the week.

Thanks, Greg. What’s happening with DTB Radio? I had a listener Odeo me this week with that question.

Radio DTB has been on a hiatus for a little bit for a few reasons. I moved, which made it difficult to keep up with the podcasting. Work at the day job got crazy busy, which also made it difficult to keep up with the podcasting. The website was hacked, requiring a WP upgrade. Mostly, however, the podcast went on hiatus because I got a legal packet of information from BMI about entering a licensing agreement with them to secure the rights to what I’m playing. It was obviously a form packet that they sent to as many podcast snail mail addresses they could find via whois, but I tried to unravel the legal issues.

I still haven’t been able to find a definitive answer, but I think that what I’m doing is fine since all my source material comes from archive.org, and I think they’re fine.

Anyway, I put out a new podcast a few weeks ago and plan to resume a more regular schedule real soon. I also plan to fix the WP templates on the website so it’s closer to the custom template I designed for the old site.

Anyway, the short answer is: a few hurdles, hope to be back in force soon. Thanks for asking!
