The Roadhouse 104

10 February 2007 5,356 views 3 Comments

nullTwo years on, the Roadhouse rolls on with an edition that rolls back the calendar. The two-year anniversay of The Roadhouse is an hour of some of my favorites fro the previous 103 editions, but certainly not all. Some of the great artists include Joe White, Susan Tedeschi, Kelly Richey Band, Shannon Boshears, and Johnny Nicholas. Thanks to everyone who has subscribed, listened, mentioned, or written about The Roadhouse since its inception. It’s not the finest blues you’ve never heard, but it’s still the finest.

You did it again. I was sitting at the comp, working on some boring stuff for work, and listening to the Roadhouse, many days late this week. I was stopped in my tracks by the great Kevin Marks tune “So blue without you.” I remembered hearing this track before, but it wasn’t in my iTunes library. I went and checked the ITMS, and there it was. Maybe it wasn’t on itunes last time you played it, but dad-gummet, I just purchased another album because of you! My wife is gonna kill me Tony!

Thanks for two years of great music. I think I started listening at episode 9 or 10. Keep’em coming!

Do we say Happy Birthday? Almost…

Tony, on behalf of all the folks that listen in but don’t leave comments allow me to say a huge thanks for both keeping the blues out there, and also for introducing this ol’ dawg to some new and cool music. (And thanks for the Duke Robillard track too!)

I look forward to show 156… maybe by then we’ll figure out how to shove cake across the web too.

Tony. From being your first featured artist to being featured on number 104…it’s always an honor.
