The Roadhouse 121

9 June 2007 3 Comments

TigerDirectSunshine fills The Roadhouse this week – summer sunshine. Inspired by an XM Radio set while driving home from work on Friday, I pull out the stops in this edition. Alex Wilson, Johnny “Clyde” Copeland, Charles Avery, Eric Hughes Band, and The Mighty Lester fill the 121st Roadhouse Podcast with a definite summer feel. Some new summer releases add to all-out pursuit of summer fun. It’s the 121st hour of the finest blues you’ve never heard – The Roadhouse Podcast.

Tony, thanks for thinking of us southern hemispherers suffering from the winter weather blues. Here on the Coast, we are still enjoying 23 degree days whilst dropping to coolish temperatures at night. Your music continues to help us block out those coolish starts. Keep it up.

  • Tony Steidler-Dennison (author) said:

No problem, Simon. I try not to let The Roadhouse be Northern Hemisphere-centric, though it’s tough. In any event, I don’t envy the onset of winter in either hemisphere.

Tony – Thanks as always for keeping Lester on the airwaves! Hope you can see us live this summer in Des Moines.
