GREAT to hear Kevin Mark's welcome, even though he didn't add any French into the mix. Big Blue Cadillac is a great tune, but I was hoping you would play a cut off his new CE, Cuttin' Loose. Some of my favs are his rendition of St. James Infirmary, plus If Your Phone Don't Ring. My wife & I were fortunate enough to hear Kevin when they introduced this CD in Beauport, Quebec. One of my favorites that night was Seven Nights to Rock - complete with French speaking crowd shouting out during the tune the English days of the week.

Hope to hear Cuttin' Loose soon!!!! Keep up the good work!

Hello Tony

I guess you messed up with the upload of the Roadhouse mp3 version because I downloaded it twice and it's #134.
But in the pickle player, it's the #135 (nice thing that pickle player by the way, helps me hear the show at work).
I love the show and have listened to every one of them since the beginning.
Keep on like this and help us discover new talents and rediscover old doughs.

Tony,
Thanks again for a great show.

I was thinking as I listened about why I don't mind your commercials and yet I hate commercial radio to the point that I just can't listen. There are two reasons. First you don't overwhelm us with ads. Two or three in an hour is reasonable whereas commercial radio has ads every ten minute and they run for, I don't know, 3 to 5 minutes. There seem to be more ads than music.
Second on your show I know that I'm going to hear somthing good. Yours is truly right up there with the best blues programs available. In the SF Bay Area, where I live, there are some excellent shows on public radio. Mark Naftalin's "Blues Power Hour" on KALW and our Jazz station KCSM has a three hour show every Friday night "Crazy about the Blues" with Kathleen Lawton. Both shows are streamed on the Internet but they aren't available as podcasts.

All told you have one of the best blues shows in the world.

Keep up the good work,
Hank Cohen
