Thank you for featuring Janiva Magness recently. Your recommend of her performances got me out to see her Saturday in Santa Monica, and she does not disappoint (thanks). Spent too much time verbally elaborating the theme of her cut “You Sound Pretty Good”—age. Moaning that she’s 51. She—of all people!—who is energy itself, looks good to boot, I’m older than that, and from me she gets as little sympathy for that one as she does admiration for her craft. She has tons of appearances everywhere; let me add a little weight for your other listeners to your good recommendation.
