I’ve posted the best of the 500 or so photos I took at the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival over the 4th of July weekend. The stream is here on Flickr.

At the end of the weekend, I was certain that I’d taken pictures of every act. I spent quite a bit of time bouncing between the main stage and the stage at the Adler Theatre, trying to assure that I captured every act. I realized later that while I was watching and photographing Doug MacLeod’s free blues seminar (after his outstanding performance at the Adler), I missed John Nemeth and Junior Watson on the main stage. Still, I did manage to catch 27 of the 28 acts over the weekend.

Though I’ve been buried the past few weeks, I do plan to write a couple of reviews from the festival. A couple of real surprises were certainly worth telling you about. Watch here for those reviews.
