The Roadhouse 188

20 September 2008 3 Comments

After a trip to Chicago, The Roadhouse takes on a nice relaxed feeling. Albert Cummings, Carlos Del Junco, David “Honeyboy” Edwards, Big Jack Johnson & The Oilers, and Curtis Salgado reflect a certain distance from the world and a nice revitalization. It’s another hour of the finest blues you’ve never heard – the 188th Roadhouse Podcast.

I’m confused – you announced it as RH 189 but it is actually 188 unless this one was supposed to be stored away for next week! Going to Chicago must have been more exciting that you really will own up to! Loved that Odetta track.

Long story on the show number. Short story is that I screwed up and didn’t catch it until later.

The Chicago trip was outstanding. The weather was perfect and the Cards won 12-6. Great, great fun.
